Thai tuna salad

An easy and tasty way to serve tuna from a can. it is one of my son’s comfort foods. I always enjoy preparing this dish for him. I know that when-ever he asks for this dish, his body needs some attention. it is good for lunch, as well as for dinner, when you are not too hungry. it is very light, but very satisfying.

Ingredients:

4 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 cans (6.5 oz.) solid white tuna, packed in water
1 small onion, sliced
1½ tablespoons fish sauce
½ teaspoon ground hot chili pepper (or to taste)
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼ cup cliantro (optional)
¼ cup chopped green onion

Method:

1. Discard excess water from the tuna.
2. Add all ingredients.
3. Mix well. Serve on lettuce, or hot stemed rice, or rice crackers.
